Default What size fuel injectors do I have?????

I know when I bought my 1st Gen whipple HO kit back in 06-07 it was advertised as coming with 38lb/hr ford GT supercar injectors, but I see them listed as 32lb and on whipples own website it now shows 34lb.

WTF?

I got the 39LB injectors shipped with my gen 2 kit, even though it was described as 34LB online.

Interesting. I definitely have the ford gt injectors with the red top. I even went out to check the part number.

If you go by Bosch's numbers it is actually a 42lb/hr inector, but I don't know what at 3 bars means. I'm confused.

So 3 bars is 43.5psi, in other words, these flow 42lbs an hour at 43.5psi.

Whipple lists them as 38 but Bosch lists them as 42. I have the same ones. Split the difference and call them 40s, lol.

I think they rate them at increased pressure (as opposed to atmospheric pressure) because you'll be using them on boosted applications, where the injector is going to be firing into a port that is seeing pressures in excess of 14.7. If they flowed 42lbs/hr at 1 bar, they'd probably flow quite a bit less at 3 bars. Just my guess anyways.

Just read your last sentence moose and I think you're right on the money.
