Default A/F ratio too safe ???

Check below at dyno numbers and a/f. Is my A/F too safe ? Not where i hoped my hp/tq to be..

Drive-train mods include:

Roush M90 with 2.57 pulley
FRPP cams
FRPP 62 mm TB
JLT CAI
BBK shorty headers
Roush catback
Alum DS
4.10 gears
20" wheels

A/F is ok high 11's, could be a little straighter but W/E. I agree you're numbers are a bit too weak but I never dealt with an M-90 on these engines before.

Take a look at the AFR from 4500-5500, compare the HP and torque over the same interval and ask yourself if you really think it should be leaned out.

Peak numbers aside, I don't think you could ask for much better looking torque and HP curves. I wouldn't say your tune is "too safe", but it favors the conservative rather than the aggressive.

I thought M90 didn't make as much as a twin screw or TVS at the same boost level anyway. Drive it and be happy!

M-90's don't make the power, it's very anemic blower for a 4.6L but with a set of Hot Rods, you'd think he would make a bit more power then this. Oh Well.

Actually, I was a bit pleased to see his numbers for an M90. But when I re-read and saw his cams it made a bit more sense. Nice, IMO.

For that blower those numbers are great. Can't expect a much better a/f line than that. I'd be pretty happy if I were you. Most M90 owners would kill for numbers like that.
