MAC PRO CHAMBER

MAC PRO CHAMBER
I have a 2007 GT. I was thinking about getting MAC PRO CHAMBER mid pipe.
will I loose my back pressure (low rpm acceleration power)?
the reason i'm asking this is, I got PYPES BOMB axle back. the sound was amazing, but I lost my back pressure. They said I have gained some power in high rpm (which I don't care) I want to get instant power in low rpm. I just don't want this happen to me again if I change my stock mid pipe with MAC PRO CHAMBER mid pipe.
Thanks

I have zero problem with low end acceleration. Back pressure on an engine is bad, don't let anyone tell you differently. What you're after is the proper amount of exhaust gas flow in an effect called scavenging. I have Mac long tubes with the Mac ProChamber. No issues whatsoever. The solid answer for low end acceleration is getting rear gears. Now I did add long tubes but at no point did I lose low end torque during my dyno runs.https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...o-results.html

I have factory headers, MAC Cut-n-clamp prochamber (had to keep those cats... damn emissions), and Pypes Violators... Car is almost a sleeper, nice and quiet rumble until you hit that WOT... then she screams! No issues with loosing anything... plus the SOUND! I've had a Prochamber on all 4 of the mustangs I've owned over the years

I'm confused as to how you lost any bottom end by adding an axle back...I think it's all in your head. Back pressure is a myth and no car "needs" back pressure, they need velocity. If you still have the stock cats they are the flow-limiting factor in your exhaust and the axle back would not change that.
As for the pro chamber, I tried one, didn't like it, and it was an ungodly expensive thing to just "try" compared to everyone else's mid pipes. It also required some tweaking to fit correctly. It was too quiet with high flow cats and too loud with no cats.
