Default Coolant Crossover

Be only heard of it a couple of times but was there a difference between the 05-06 and 07-10 cooling systems? What simple upgrades can be done to an 05 to help it cool a little more efficient. No major mods currently. CAI tune and axle back, but soon to be LTs

TIA

Yes, the crossover setups and thermostat locations are different.
But they work essentially the same.
To cool a little better, simply use a colder thermostat. (Changing crossover setups is not an issue.)

Overheating shouldn't be a problem either.

Synthetic oils run cooler than dino oil and can take more heat. I use www.tufoil.com an additive for at least 18 years since a machinist that built a BMW engine for me recommended it. Lastly I think it is/was Redline Oil that has a product called "Water Wetter" that was supposed to improve cooling. Never had any problems at all with my '05 GT having any cooling issues, using Amsoil, Tufoil, and no changes made to the cooling system as in adds or fluid changes.

Just recalled, I've seen demos where a hot surface was used, and dino oil applied and shied away from the surface, and synthetic oil coated the surface. FWIW
