Weird Hose
New to the forum. Have an issue. My moms 22009 Mustang GT was bought with a procharger kit but whoever installed it, did not install it correct at all and had many problems that were to expensive for us to fix. So we had the procharger removed and sold it and I am trying to figure out some of the last small issues. One issue I am having is it is throwing a code for running too rich. I cannot remember the code off the top of my head. So I thought that I either had a vacuum leak or one of the O2s were bad. I have not checked the O2s but I did find this hose coming off of the passenger side valve cover.

On the Driver side, I am guessing the PCV valve was there but the previous owner capped it off on both sides. The question I have is where does the hose on the passenger side valve cover go and do I need a PCV valve for the car to run right. And any other suggestions for making it run rich than those two things would be helpful!

That hose is WAY too long now, since you removed the ProCharger.
That hose goes to the intake tube, somewhere.

The car should be running like crap without it... The intake would be pulling in unmetered air
through the nozzle where that hose end is not connected to, unless it's capped or going somewhere
else.

You can remove the hose and clamp a breather filter on the PCV:

Or you can put it on the end of the hose with a <==> fitting.
I would try and find the intake where you can connect it, and add a catch
can. That is the side the oil blow by is. So, leaving it open, oil will
come out the end of the hose. You can still run it to a catch,
and put breather filters on the catch can as vents...
You CANNOT cap it, you will damage the motor with no release for positive crank case
venting.
