Default P0345 code with new engine

Hey all!
I just put a new (reman) engine in my 06 GT and am now getting a P0345 code. It starts and idles a little bit rough but smooths out after about a minute. We put all new sensors in when installing new engine. I've replaced the alternator and CMP sensors, checked the wiring. I don't know what else to do. I've read that it could be the reluctor ring but don't want to have to pull that if I don't have to, and on a new engine it should not be the problem. That said, that's kind of where I'm leaning to since I didn't ever have this problem before the new engine.
Any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the cam phaser if the rebuilder reused the old ones or cheaped out with aftermarket ones. Dorman and Freedom Racing brand tend fail pretty often/regularly and those unfortunately are the most commonly used because they are about half the price of OEM ones.

Any ticking while the engine is cold or the idle stumbling? Inspection and replacement can be done by just removing the valve covers.

This shows how they fail
These show how to replace them.

No, no ticking. Just a slightly rough start and idle.

A number of potential causes exist for the P0345 code. They include the following:
  • Contamination of the sensor by engine oil or transmission fluid
  • Broken teeth
  • Wiring damage
  • Corroded or loose connections
  • Failed camshaft position sensor A (usually due to fluid contamination)
  • Failed crankshaft position sensor
  • Failed PCM (rare)
