Default I'm thinking of going to 4.30 gears

This summer I'm going to complete my 2005 mustang with full bolt-ons. Right now I have the Brenspeed Detroit Rocker Cams, Kooks Long Tube Headers with catted H- pipe, underdrive pulleys, CAI, Ford Racing driveshaft, and 4.10s gears. I was thinking when I get my Ford Racing Manifold and throttle body to maybe going to 4.30 gears. Right now she picks them up and puts them down like a raped ape running through the jungle. I like to hear what you think. Will 4.30s make any difference? She's quick now but I think it could even improve even more with a little bit of grunt. Please tell me what you think. I also have Michelin Super Sports with some aftermarket lower control arms. So she hooks up well.

410 to 430 would be to small of a jump. I doubt you would notice much of anything. If you had a supercharger and was racing 1/4 mile strip. You would make a difference but for every day driving. NAH

I like having a naturally aspirated motor. I don't like the whine. A good looking car you have.

I think you should stick with the 4.10. With the additional mods (FRPP intake manifold &.TB) and retune, it'll be a well balanced package and you'd basically be replicating YouTuber Four Eyes' set up which put down 363rwhp & 333rwtq.

Dino he did have a personal tune put on his, however, the Brenspeed tunes do not disappoint. I live almost at sea level so I get a lot of air which makes more horsepower. Man, I would supercharge like the other guy was saying I just don't like the whine and if I did so I wouldn't be able to paint my car this summer. Thanks for intervening. You always make good conversation. Do you still have your s-197?
my ride.

Thanks

I don't think I have met to many people that don't like the whine but I understand. Have you considered a turbo?

i think 430 may actually hurt your street performance. More likely to spin the tires vs hook, harder to modulate the throttle out of corners (easier to over-steer/fishtail, etc). Just an opinion though.

Are you auto or manual? Manual your first gear will be useless.

p.s. If you go FI you may want to even consider 3.73 or leave it at 4.10.

His Kooks LT headers would increase turbo lag so if he was to go the turbo route, he'd need to either reinstall the stock exhaust manifolds or get shorties.
He could instead go for a centrifugal supercharger as that produces far less whine than a PD blower. The only mods he'd then need to reverse would be the CAI and underdrive pulleys.
