after rebuild run like crap help
thx for all the help from the members who chimed in, especially dino.
now im finishing up redoing the door panel fabric and just had the seats redone so no more rips, i need to pop out some dents, clean the trunk and put it all back together.
ill post some pics when im done with her.
Well the ****ing code p0340 has shown up and right after I left the inspection station, and I mean seconds after it passed. I officially hate this car. In the freeze frame data, my short term fuel trim on b1s1 is -2.3% and b2s1 is +4.7%. I noticed that the car hates going below idle, like when you are going from a stop and the rpm might dip below 700, that’s when it sounds a little rough but if I rev it for a sec it sounds fine. The freeze frame date also confirms it as the code came on at 700rpm. This car idles at around 750rpm.
I’m at a loss here, I guess the vct solenoid on b1 could be bad but idk and don’t want to throw parts at it. My scanner says there is no fault on the vct solenoid but it said that on the cam phaser that was bad to so I can’t really believe that.
any ideas?

It's almost certain that the VCT solenoid on the other side is also bad so you might as well replace that too before the phaser gets effed up. The phaser relies on the VCT solenoid being able to flow enough oil for proper operation. If the solenoid is clogged, the phaser doesn't get enough oil pressure to retard the cam timing at idle and gets stuck near full advance. This is why the engine runs rough at idle and smooths out when you rev it up, albeit with reduced power at higher rpm.
