A/C
2008 GT. Literally over night the A/C went from blowing cold to blowing warm. Clutch is spinning. There was a torrential downpour, and I discovered the front passenger carpet soaked and have no idea where the rain came in. Since the computer is in the kick panel on that side I was thinking related??
There is no computer in the kick panel but there is the Smart Junction Box which has been known to get leaks around it.
Take a picture of the SJB with the cover off of it for fuse and relay placement, disconnect the negative battery terminal, then remove all the fuses and relays of the box and check for water in and around the box.
f you spot any, It's probably best to remove the kick panel itself to get easier access and be able to more thoroughly dry it. You'll need to loosen the trim along the bottom of the door opening and loosen the moulding/trim around the door opening near the dash to remove it.

Spot on correct! The rubber drain funnels were completely impacted with debris. Since I'm in Florida with torrential down pours, I just removed them completely! There is a water line almost halfway up the cabin air filter. No wonder the carpet is wet!
