Default 89 turbo down for while.

Well got to down wife's 89t again. Bummer. I have trouble with things not related to turbo. Well the heater core is leaking. I wish I had thought of putting in a new one when I changed from red to black interior. Oh well. I guess I know what I will be doing Saturday.

Wow isnt that alot of work? I know if it were me, I'd probably end up cracking/breaking the dash somehow

Yes but necessary. Well anyway give me good excuse to look at designing my own. Radio/gauge/ac control panel. I know they make one but I am a cheapscate. Also while out I want to design or fiqure out cupholder. We don't smoke so that area of the console may be next victim to that idea. Will relocate the lighter outlet for cell phone charger etc.

I did it in 8 hours, whole dash taken out, cleaned and put back in (first time I've ever done it) make sure to use a FORD core, other ones will leak

Getting to the heater core in my stang was too easy. 4 screws... out comes dash board, 6 more screws, out comes the whole dash lol. Or I can just unbolt the heater box and go from there.

and mg man... is it your wifes car? or yours?

lol you build the car, she goes out and pwns ricers

Wife's car, my car makes no differance. When been married as long as me. 22+ years makes no differance. As long as she is happy good for me. Before I built it she was talking about a newer car. She doesn't want one now. Problem solved. Anyway it is a test mule for the turbo MGB. Everything I try and learn works on it goes on the MGB. That is my car. So it is a win win situation. Working on getting a 4 eye silver convertiable no rust no damage good top. Bad trans. Look out maybeSHO time if it is a 4 cylinder if 5.0 I will just fix trans and leave alone. Sleeper_inc this not first time dash has been out. I think about 3 times when building it. Red out to paint black. Got free Black dash it was a air bag car. Fuseholder in differant place. Then finally got a black dash. I just wish I done it a long time ago. Anyway heater hasn't been any good. I got this car out of back lot and critters had filled car with hickey nuts. Probably my heat problem with bad core. Sucked 4 gallons of nuts out of misc places of car when I was building it.
