Default Need some opinions here please

I currently do not have a Mustang :/ but I am trying to get one, but I am stuck on something I want to tune it as does everyone else but I am not sure on what size engine to get?

sorry I forgot to put that I will most likely be getting one form years 1989-1993.

so Is the V8 or the 4cyl better to tune?

Are you talking about actual engine tuning or engine modding?

I think you need to worry less about what everybody else is doing, and start with some research. Do you have any/basic/extensive car knowledge? My guess is not, so again, start researching.

If you are looking at that year range you have a couple options. Try to find a 5.0 that hasn't been ragged on too terribly, then start with some basic mods and work your way up to forced induction. You could also get a 4 cylinder, and swap in a 2.3T from a TurboCoupe or swap in a 5.0/V8 of some sort.

Obviously, a motor swap would require a little more up front mechanical knowledge, so that could limit your options. My opinion is for you to try and find a decent 5.0. Do the basic mods and gain some foundation knowledge, then maybe start thinking bigger.

Well I would not want to go from the 2.3 to the 5.0 because now you have changes springs and a lot of other structural things, I do have have knowledge on cars just not the tuning part, I like to restore classic cars this tuning thing is new to me lol
