Default Turbo Wastegate

Hey my Wastegate actuator is shot. I noticed the hole that exhaust comes out of (wastegate) is about the same size as the EGR hole in the manifold.

I'm not running a EGR valve, can I fab a piece for a external wastegate on the manifold?

I was told the hole is not big enough but it's the same as the internal one.

Thanks guys!

Doesnt work. Far too much pressure in manifold at that location.
