brake line

brake line
my drivers side wheel cylinder went out while i was driving today, got a new one but i cant get the line to unscrew from the old one. its nice and stripped now, anyone know a way to get the line off? or do i have to buy a new line and cut this one off?

Hi,
Did you try any PB Blast before you tried to remove that line? I would try that and maybe some vice grips and try hard not to kink the line.
You could always buy a 8" of brake line with fittings from Autozone and use a union/compression fitting if you have to cut the line (you will probably have to flare one end too). Maybe do some research and see if you can even buy pre-fabbed lines for the rear.

ill try the vice grips and pb blast when it stops raining, i found pre fab lines but their $80 i dont have at the moment lol. might just have to buy the 8" of line and fittings, thanks for the help

got a 51" section of brake line with the ends flared and fittings already on it for 4.99 at autozone. just got to get the old line off and then bend this line to make it fit(its straight when you buy it)
