Exclamation 1988 mustang lx

1988 ford mustang lx turns on but after a while the car chokes up and turns off.

Do you get a check engine light? If you feather the throttle does it stay running? Give me a boe here haha

No the check engin light doesn't come on. It shuts off even after I rev the engin. Already change the distributor cap and rotor.fuel as well filter

ignition control moduel? My '93 is having this problem now too. But mine backfires and dies while i'm driving just normally. i'm about to put a crank sensor in mine 2moro. But since ur's has a distributor it doesn't have a crank sensor i think. Make sure the injectors are pulsing like they r supposed to

Got the car going the spark plugs were not gapped right runs and drives no problem
