Default fuel pump size 255?190

Ok im having problems deciding on a pump.I've seen where alot of people run the 255 because its plenty enough pump. But can it be to much? Im running 35 lb injectors, front mount,a mild cam...would a 190 be all I need?also if you run the 255 do you have to use a adjustable fuel pressure regulator? thanks

It all depends on what your plans are for the car and how much hp you are wanting to make. I want to say that the TurboCoupe came with a 190LPH pump, (could be wrong) so it should be enough for your current setup, but if you have any upgrades planned for higher hp goals in the future, then you might as well spring for the 255 to start with. Yes, you will have to use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Why not go larger. Not much more and regulator will bypass what is not needed. Also the 5.0 reg fits the 2.3 rail. That is what is on mine. Maurice
