I did the a/c delete & smog pump removal , blocked egr with plate & removed vac's to egr and pluged vac. to intake, but did not remove air line's to the head's ( waiting on plugs from ford) so just pluged hose's with out taking out the valve's in air line's on pasenger side of motor. also fixed the egr senser at 1/4 way in . It now idle's iradic betwen 500 & 1200 rpm unless I pull the masair elec plug and put it into closed loop , Could it be that I'm now missing calculated air with out smog pump & egr makeing the mass air reading off or just missed an vac line some where? Also mabe the valve's in the air lines going to head's & cat's. Any way some one with exp. @ this removal would be great Thank's

Damn I would say that you have a vaccum leak first thing to check is take everything off the EGR Make DAMn sure its sealed at the throttle body! Then leave the sensor plugged in fully just remove eveyrthing else, I bought a EGR Simulation plug for mine and it never throws a code at all, I got it off ebay for cheap. I would spray some carb cleaner around the suspected areas and go from there, also check the TPS and idle and re adjus them

Thank's for the reply, I did the egr senser fix after the idle prolm. no leak at the plate , I down loaded the egr deletion from http://geocities.com/stanglx2002smog.htm?200626 becuse the ebay egr simulator is out of time or some thing plan on trying to get it later, My concern is the valves @ the air line's and the mass air not geting enough metered air as it did with pump on.

sorry to but in on your post but do you get any power when removing the pump etc.?

EGR or exhaust gas recirculation I"m geting off road h pipes and long tube headers so dont need pump to put air into the cat's plus I geuss less pullies
