Horsepower Help PLZ!!

Hey, i just bought a rebuilt 69' Boss 302 engine and was wondering if anyone had some ideas i could use to add some horsepower...it says those engines come with 290 HP but i would like to try to add more (i have an 83 stang body built for the 5.0 engine, just to let ya'll know)..so if anyone has any ideas please let me know

what do you have done to it right now?
nitrous is always a quick way to pick up 100hp

swap the 4v head for 2v the ports are too big unless ur running at 7grand all the time! get some aussie 2v head it features the closed chambers and the 2v ports or edelbrocks new 351c head but ther r set up the same way! the 4v head kills low end torque! esp on a 302
