Default sn95 cam and ecu queston

is the stock ecu good to go with my cam... i now it idles goofy, but is my computer just fightin the cam and holdin back any hp's...
just curious if any of you goo roo's knew

Well, what do you mean by goofy. What kind of cam did you install. It won't idle the same if it's an aggressive cam. Maybe some vacuum leaks?

its a b303 ford racing cam... and i've read that sn95 idle a lil goofier than fox's but i dunno... it is ok though, just curios if i really need an ecu upgrade/tune???

Not sure if it will be ok. You might wanna seek the advice of a tuner and possibly have a chip burned for it.

you can put it in and itll run but you ll prolly have to get it tuned for real. those comps wont pick up on mods.

Get it dyno tuned if you want it to run right. SN95 computers are hit or miss w/ cams......

You SHOULD be able to run it but the computer might take it a little funny. If you plan on doing more mods soon just let it be for now so than you dont have to get it tuned twice. Do you have any future mods? If not than its time to start calling tuners.
