Default 1987 302 block question.

hi guys (and girls if any),

i'm currently looking at buying a 1987 302 block, coming out of a 1987 T-bird. it had EFI, but they put a 750 cfm carb on it.

could anyone here tell me what cam was used in this year? i.e hydraulic roller or hydraulic flat tappet?

and this would be even better: could anyone tell me if the pistons from '87 have notches in 'em? because i've seen on many cam ads : "'86 302 must have pistons nothced for clearance", but this type of motor was built from 85 to 91 in that version, so i'm not sure if they were notched in 87 as opposed to 86.

all info would be greatly appreciated, seeing that it's really hard to find people who these things over here in europe.

thx in advance.
