Default Exhaust help

I was wondering if i can get information on a 1994 mustang GT exhaust. This isnt my account this is my friends and i am looking to buy a mustang. The information i am looking for is about the exhaust. On a 1994 Mustang GT, it goes from Headers, to X pipe (with cats or no cats on X pipe) then to the exhaust system with the mufflers than tips. (i am probably wrong please sombody correct me) THe reason why i am asking this is because after i get this mustang i am looking for a good exhaust, I am thinking of sticking with stock 94 gt headers, (should i stick with my stock X pipe with cats (if thats what it has on it)) and getting SLP Loudmouth catback (if it has no cats on the X pipe). Please somone correct me if i am wrong. I know it looks confusing but -- i just wanna know all the exhaust parts under a stock 94 mustang GT in order --. Thanks!!!

stock you have the stock headers (or manifolds), the a catted H pipe (with 4 catalytic converters), then you have your catback with your mufflers and tips

SLP is a very good choice, my best friend has it on his 95..i suggest an h pipe though, not an x

Unless you are going to get a mid pipe w/ cats, look at the MAC pro-chamber. Shorty headers, pro-chamber and the SLP will give you a nice sound, and a little more power.

Don't forget about the intake side too--larger MAF and CAI would be a good start. Also, gears will be the best bang for the buck you can do. Lots of things to look at w/ a new stang...just figure out what you want your end result to be....
