I was at my dads friends the other day and we were talking about my car and parts iv got for it, when he reached up on a shelf and said here, he handed me an MSD 6A ignition box prat number 6200. He said it was on his buddies boat but it wasnt working properly.

I think the box for 5.0s is a 6AL correct?

Will this box work with my ride?(6A, PN 6200) Also , can these be repaired ?
I duno what is wrong with it.

 

6A and 6AL is the same thing, the only difference is that the 6AL has a switchable rev limiters and the the 6A doesnt.

Its a nice upgrade for you ignition system.

well install it if it doesnt work call up MSD and see how much to repair it, say it was a gift and you dont have the receipt.
