Stroker comes from changing the original stroke of the engine to shorter or longer rods and crank throws to gain cubic inches.
A rotating assembly runs around 1300 and up for good forged componets.
Thanks for the reply. I figured it had to do with altering the...well...the stroke, but didn't know that you could build your stock motor into one. Good info.
I would probably not try to do it yourself if you aren't sure....for a little more, you can get a DSS bullet 331--$1800 I think.... that would be the short block bored over .030 and stroked w/ a 3.25" crank instead of the stock 3". The 347 is a little more and it's a 3.4" stroke I believe....
