351W with 375-425 HP....??
I have gotten my hands on a 199- something 351 Windsor motor....I want to put it in my 1994 Mustang GT. I want to keep the EFI but the V-8 motor is all new to me. I have read hundreds of pages of information on what parts to use to make power, but nothing is consistant, I would imagine that is because there is so much you can do to make power with this motor. I really need some good info on parts to use to build a 375-425hp N/A motor for everyday driving and some track play. I want this to be a budget build but not cheap...budget....something that will keep my motor dependable for long trips.
So far the thing that I have been told is to get aluminum heads, custom cam, better pistons and rods, and look for a better intake...ie RPM II, P-51, Trickflow. If someone could guide me thru this I would really appreciate it. It's the specs that I need...
Thanks

Well let me know what parts you decide to use. I'm not going to copy your setup just get an idea of what kind of power your going to get after your done with that particular combination of parts.

Initially I was going to go with the 331 because alot of folks said it was a good motor for street an strip, but this 351 was a FREEBIE so plans changed. The 351 from what I read is an easy motor to make power with..the problem is knowing what combuination of parts work together best to make the power your shooting for.
