Default Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge Question

my 91 lx was bought with a mech oil press gauge thats not hooked up. the copper tube is run into the engine bay, i just have to plumb it into the sending unit. but the question is do i bleed this thing? i dont see a bleeder or anything on the gauge itself, i didnt chase all of the tubing but i dont think there is anything. do i just hook it up and go?

air in the line will not change the pressure shown on the gauge, it will only change time it takes to show a change in pressure, air causes a slower change in indicate gauge pressure.
