just dont get on it at all, i had my first stang when i was 15 haha. but i could not drive it untill i was 15 and 6 months, and that was with a parent. i find i get better gas mileage when i crank it out a lil more, because if you shift to low you are going to lug the motor, and thats no good for gas mileage. and you cant shift at 2k all the time, if you are on a hill and you take off, your shift from first to second will be fine, but when you shift from second to 3rd its is going to buck because your rpms are only going to be about 1k.

Half the time in 50* weather i have both windows down, and some guns n roses blastin just cruzin. people must think im insane but i enjoy the car. i cant wait to get my intake, i think im going to go with the trickflow street heat... black if i can get it. is that a good choice?

if u want gas mileage why dont you buy a honda, whats up with people wanting there mustangs to have good gas mileage with a v8 it aint gonna happen lol, my car wont even run on 87 and pings with 89 so im stuck with 93 and most of the time its mixed with half a tank of racing fuel , plus the 4.10s with 5 spd i get less than a hundred miles on a tank [:@]

umm why dont you knock the timing down so your not mixing 93 and race fuel? there is nothing wrong with wanting some what good gas mileage and performance, i can get 23mpg with my set up when im not in it, so it can happen. and you are going to get better mileage with 93 than 87 so i would not bother to try and run it. what kind of race fuel are you running?

I think the main reason is because everyone wants to see if their car is what everyones else is. If you have the same car as me for example and are gettin 20 mpg and im getin 10 there is obvioulsy a problem that needs to be fixed. Just my 02. sense.

Exactly what 95stang5.0 said. I Just was wondering how I could bump mine up because I know im not getting 20 mpg. I love my car but id like to get the maximum mpg out of it ya know? I do have an off road h pipe tim, its pretty sweet. I think my heatshield on there is hitting the frame, because it rattles at times... im not concerned though because its off and on.
