Default 89 5.0-swaped "74" into 89 kept EFI

74 motor purchased from defunct machine shop-don't know most of the specs, ported heads, double springs, solid roller cam, rockers, 7 qt oil pan, had a victor jr intake, supposedly balanced and blueprinted. swaped out the tired 100kplus 89 motor but used the stock intake computer ect., to see how motor actually ran. (friend had to change plug wires around for firing order) well seems pretty good, but i know the set-up is not correct. And i am unsure if i should upgrade the fuel injection or go with the carb intake that it came with. If the firing order is different how do the injectors fire at the correct time?
