Looking for Your Suggestions
Was given an 88 LX with one of the four rods knocking like a Jehovah's Witness. Bought a stock 84 5.0 that is supposed to be in decent shape. Wanting to put a cam, intake, and carb on the 5.0 before I replace the 2.3. Any suggestions for a good combination of all three? This wont be a daily driver however I do not need to run in the 11's either.
Not much experience with eight cylinders, but willing to learn. I know I have a lot of work ahead so I joined this forum. Searched for this info here and got a lot of ideas but perhaps something fresh is in order.
