I agree, you can buy a carb enclosure or go with a blow through set up for boost off a blower or turbo charger.

Here is my 5.8 carbed install. And the headers needed to make it work. They are Headman Husslers that I sent to Jet Hot. 1 &7/8 inch long tube with "Flat" 3 inch slip on collectors.

^^ I dont think I've ever seen headers like that. Why did they have to be "flat"?

You can get then for the 302/5.0 also. It allows you to run a big primary tube and maintain ground clearance for the street. The primary tubes on these headers are 1/8th inch smaller than a 2 inch pipe so they align them all in a row instead of stacking them two on top and two on bottom to help keep them off the road. These are a very long header too. The collector fastens to my exhaust right in the center of the tranny cross member. The have very heavy flanges and are a real nice piece. I must say, four years of street driving and the jet hot still looks like brand new.

wow very nice looking there. well carb just maybe the ticket then i really don't know right now. i like the fact that you can fine tune a efi more then you can a carb. but i may just stick with a stright carb setup. i have a long time to think of this and the hard part right now is getting the engine and money for all this lined up
