Anyway, We need alot more info about the car and the parts. Stock, original CARB? Aftermarket CARB? Fuel pressure should be right about 6 PSI.

And before somebody says "well it says EFI on the air filter cover" 85 was the last year for a CARB. 86 had speed density fuel injection.

Pull the filter cover off and post a pic...please.

this car IS FUEL INJECTED I did not believe it at first, and the guy I bought it off of told me that it had a carb also. When I started wrenching on it I noticed the E.F.I on the air cleaner and thought that it was odd and sure enough when I pulled it off I saw an early Throttle Body Injection. I will go get pics if you dont believe it, but there are two injectors sitting right on top that confirms what I am telling you...unless you know of a carb with wires and injectors instead of jets...

wow.Alot of time the injectors get clogged on those style electronic carbs.You might want to check the tps with a multimeter.Late 80's GM cars had electronic carbs close to that one.You might just want to find a new or rebuilt one
