People who buy AFRs, don't buy Powerdyne. You should build a supercharged car or a nitrous car; not both. Dual power adders should be saved for people with a little more experience. You can make more than enough power to break a stock block with either power adder. The nitrous motor can be built for a lot cheaper. That's what I'd do if I was starting off. And this is coming from someone who owns all 3 power adders (but not on the same car).

No offense but gas is for girls... I want a fast car, not a car that goes fast when the bottle is full...

None taken. You can preach out having a fast car all you want but when it comes to pump gas street cars, boosted cars just hang with the nitrous cars. Now they may be limited to a bottle, but when's the last time you ever raced anyone 5 out of 9?

im not sure your question... you think someone with gas has a better chance to go 5 of 9 over another car that is built internally and having comprable hp with no power adders? [sm=pimp.gif]

No. My point was, are you going to race the nitrous car until he runs out of bottle and then race him several more times just so you can be the overall winner? I have never raced anyone with my nitrous car 5-7 times beating them every time and then when my bottle is empty, race them another 6-8 times until they get a chance to win. And I was comparing nitrous to boosted cars not N/A cars. You could always add nitrous to your car. On the other hand, my E7 headed stock 148k mile shortblock car with a .513 lift 218 duration cam, MAF, TB, used intake and used wet kit made 428rwhp 567rwtq through an AOD. It had maybe $1200 in mods and still got 18-20mpg. Your rotating assembly should have cost you about that. You can't beat it in bang for the buck and you can't beat it in drivability. The top street cars are always dominated by nitrous cars.

Ok... Point taken... but still the engine on nitrous is going to be trashed long before its equal w/o power adders... My .02 [sm=headbang.gif]

man why is it always the nitrous that gets questioned? the shot isnt that big 150 max its just to help out either end of the power band. heck it was just a thought . yeah 900 fo the block only. lmao i wish it was for everything, if it was? do you think id be siting here talking to you good people. i would be bolt in that bad boy. yeah i did read a nitrous is hard are your internals and a turbo motor would actualy be the best. but i dont want the hassle. i got a new catback thats not returnable. um for the block im going sportsmen with egale internals. no ifs, ands, or ors about it. i will keep you guys updated.
