K so my friend lost his profile ignition pick up. Atleast that is what i think it is. You take it off to check your timing. Anyways i was wondering what the correct name was for it and were do you think we can get another one.

its something in the distributor. but i think thats under the cap. but you lost something?? can you expain more. and what year car and what kind of car would help too.

If it's a 5.0, it's called the spout connector, and is found near the MAF on the passengerside fender. If you don't change your timing much, you can just splice a piece of wire in there instead of a spout connector, it does the same thing.
