good install

Default good install

i have a 89 hatch gt and installed a trick flow a/c eliminator. How many horses does eliminating the ac give you.



mods flowmaster 40 series dump outs, 373's, -a/c,

not much, maybe 1 or 2, when the A/C is running it's drawing a hell of a lot though, probably closer to 15-20 when it's running.

it's based on a percentage i think, it's something like 20% possibly, so that's like 0.2 times total hp and that'll give you an estimate, i'm not positive it's 20 percent though.

I personally wouldn't have deleted the A/C, unless it's purely a drag car, deleting it lowers re-sale value, and on a hot summer day you're just screwed. I would've deleted the smog pump way before A/C. Besides, that A/C delete pulley has drag aswell so you probably didn't gain anything technically. But you did drop about 25 or so lbs off your car.

you could have just left it turned off for same horse power gain. lol

you'd be surprised how fast the value on a clean FOX body has been coming up lately.

Bluebook only list them around $2000, but nice ones with some mods are getting close 10k now.
Seen original super low mile super clean ones for as much as $15-20k
