What coil is the best coil?
I have finally finished buying all the stuff I need to complete the fuel system for the car. I need to start compiling all the components needed to finish the electrical system. I have MSD ignition, plug wires and distributor, but no coil yet. The motor has been bored to 306. I have Edelbrock Victor Jr. Heads, Cobra upper and lower intake manifold. Blue Racer wolverine cam. Comp Cam roller rockers and push rods. 70mm BBK throttle body and 30# Ford motorsport injectors. Vortech S-Trim supercharger and a NOS 150 shot system that I bought and have not hooked up yet. There are other various odds and ends but you get the idea. I have been looking at the Blaster 2 coil, but I wasn't sure if that would be sufficient or if I should go with the Pro Power coil with 55,000 v. Thanks Guys.

My 90 had an accel coil on it when I got it w/ no problems, but I bought a MSD Blaster TFI for the rebuild. MSD is good stuff....Not saying it's the only good one out there, but it's been tried and tested.

I want to stay with MSD, but I want to know what MSD coil to use. I was looking at the Blaster 2 or 3, but wasn't sure with the mods if I should just go ahead and get the MSD Pro Power coil. The Blaster 2 and 3 are putting out 45,000 v. and the Pro Power is putting out 55,000 v.
