here is how you check for a leak. Unplug the engine fan. Get something that will produce a fine mist. Get a good flash light so you can track the mist. Start the car and start spraying. The leak will push the mist around. Remember the colectors too. Having a lift helps too. Remember to plug the fan back in.

I use that method to find out if i have a spark plug wire shorting out.

To find a leak i just use a flash light in the dark and look for any vapors.It really helps if you can run a little rich too.

headers come lose a lot. as the car gets warm the metal expands and as it get colder the metal shrinks. therefore headers come a little lose quite often. i've found that locking washers do quite well in this case because it keeps everything from moving when the expansion occurs. also cardboard header gaskets blow, so go with metal too.

Yea I got Mac copper gaskets. I proably just need to tighten them up real good again.
