2 questions...for now anyway
1. My heat blows, but hardly warm, do you think its my heater core? Should I try flushing it before replacing it if that's the case?
2. My EGR's been pulled, what do I do to make the check engine light turn off?

RE: 2 questions...for now anyway
If it's not blowing hot air it could be either the core is clogged or the heater switch has quit working.
As for the check engine light, you may have to do like Crazyfast50stang said and install mils

Question 1:
If it's blowing air hard but no heat, then i agree with 1990mustanggt, in which case if the heater core is clogged, i've heard of people switching the order of the heater hoses, so that the hose pumping coolant in is now on the outlet side of the core, do this while flushing motor, so that you dont' just recirculate all that crap through motor
Question 2:
I bought one of these...

Worked fine

RE: 2 questions...for now anyway
Just take off the heater core hoses and put a garden hose up to one and put some pressure through it, see if you're getting a good amount of flow out the other end, if you're not getting much, just keep shooting water through it and it should eventually un-clog.

RE: 2 questions...for now anyway
That fake egr thing should probaly do the trick, is that the only way?
And I figured I should flush the core, I heard sometimes when you do a motor swap it can get crap in it. I should be doing it tomorrow, I'll let you know

RE: 2 questions...for now anyway
actually my temp guage acts pretty weird, in that it doesn't work most of the time. It seems to stick, i caught it working a few times, but other then that it moves a little and just stops. But it doesn't seem to not warm up.
