Default rattling???

ok, I have a 94GT 5spd. No matter what gear you're in, if you stomp it there is this really fast vibrating sound coming from the front of the car. It sounds like its right in front of the firewall, or something close. It sounds somewhat like a piece of sheetmetal vibrating really fast. I've heard lots of 5 spd cars that make this sound.

I want it to stop, because if I'm showing somebody what I have, I dont want it to sound like a ****ing piece!!!

Any thoughts?

if it's some sort of ticking sound that gets faster with the RPMs, my bet would be exhaust leak.. check the header gaskets for white or black burnt marks.

or worse like what I found out, one of my cats is cracked.... I'm thinking I may get the Pypes full dual system cated X pipe since it's only 200 more than just the Y-cat pipe.
