Guys, I think I have a problem now
I hardly ever post on here and always just read what peopke has to say But now, I think I have a problem with my 91 5.0. I have a 91 vert that I hardly ever drive. I start her once every three days. But here is the issue, I noticed that lately when I fire her up it's kind has a hard time starting almost like the battery is weak. But it starts. So just last night, I pulled her out of the garage for about an hour. Left her outside and when I fired her up same thing with weak start but it started. So I pull her in the garage, put the hand brake up I noticed my ebrake light came on and back off and at the same time I had shut the car off. I try to start her again and gone..it's freakin dead! Lights work but it just wont crank.
Then my frekin alarm starts to turn and off all out of whacked and try to turn it off with my remote.
Anyhow, I have been having problems with this freakin alarm forever. It goes off just when you walk by it. Damn thing is so sensitive. Anyhow, would it be possible that the alarm is what's draining the battery? Sorry for the long story but I just thought I would share my experience. Like I said, I hardly post on here it's just this time. I need help.

yes alarms take some juicefrom your battery. also you are prob not letting your car run long enough to recharge the battery after starting. what I would do since you dont drive the car much is get a tricle charger 1 to 2 amp range and put it on your battery and she should start up good every time.

I am assuming there is a reset button by the drivers side by the foot area if not then try reseting it by disconnecting the battery (negative side) for at least 15 minutes, I hope this works, good luck my 2 cents.
