i'm saying in the neighborhood of 182 to 377 RWHP .....
^^^That sounds about right. I'd trust that guy. But the best way to tell is put it on a dyno. HP ratings don't come from guestamites.

300 to the wheels will require a stroker or blower and maybe better heads.
a blower on your set-up would get you pretty close though.
personally i like the kennebell s/c.

you need almost 400hp at the flywheel to put 300+ to the ground.

^^^Even w/ stock suspension, you shouldn't lose 25% of your power in the drivetrain and suspension.......unless you're just being ultra conservative.

Plenty of people are making 300 to the wheels w/ TW's or AFR's, TFS stage 1 or E cam, and a good intake (street heat, etc.) and of course the bolt ons.

ninety5five0--w/ the stock TB and the P heads, you probably won't see over 270ish to the wheels.

Ahhh no. I have seen it done with a stock cam and GT40 heads and intake.

Any suggestions here. I already have the bolt ons and the heads. I can change the other stuff, except i dont wanna do pistons and suck.
The P heads i have have highflow valves and springs up to .600 lift, if that will make anything better, but i'm not sure.

You might could run 1.7's depending on your cam choice, but you should clay it up first to be sure you have enough clearance.

You probably won't be able to run over ~.530 total lift, so you may be better off w/ a slightly larger cam and 1.6's. What size valves do you have? That will be part of determining your cam/rocker setup.

I put ported E7's (Crane valve spring kit), FRPP 1.72's, and E cam on my rebuild. total lift is ~.535, would be ~5.29 w/ 1.7's. The TFS would be my next choice, but the exhaust side is higher, so I'd be more concerned about clearance..... Do a little google research on your cam options to see what's out there and then see who here has used them and whether they liked them. Then, when you pick your cam, you can figure out whether 1.7's will work or if you'll need to run 1.6's.

^^How much p/v clearance do you have with your E7s and that set up?

I heard that P heads didnt like anything over .500 lift. Is that just because of the springs and vavles that they have ? If so, the springs and valves are aftermarket on my P heads. But is more lift always better ?
