Whad do you fellas think about a Mac Prochamber X-Pipe 2.5" on my fox w/ a 2.5" Flowmaster American Thunder catback exhaust system? How well do you think it will perform and sound? Will it have that raspy xpipe sound? Is that prochamber thing a cat? I dont know much about it. LEMME KNOW!

 

The prochamber is not a catted pipe and it's also not an X. It is a crossover, but it uses a chamber (think muffler housing) to merge exhaust pulses. It's supposed to give more power than an X or H, but I haven't seen anything to prove it. I like them and will be using the prochamber when I upgrade to long tubes down the road (budget build up for now). The ones I've heard sound really good.

 

I know I like the MAC Prochamber. It gives it a little bit better sound. Brings out the sound of my SLP loudmouth, makes it a bit deeper.

Yea I think I'm going to go with the Hooker Equal length shorties and the mac prochamber x pipe. Should sound pretty damned good with the flowies.

 

yeah flows would sound really good with that setup. the only reason i got rid of my areo chamber is they were SO DAMN BIG. i hardley had room to check the oil in my rear dif. color is factory strawberry red from 1990 and their 17s
