Default New stang need help on mods

Hi I just bought a 1988 mustang gt with a blown motor. I installed a rebuilt stock 302 and it runs great , I just want more power. I am not the kind of guy with big bucks so I can only afford fairly low buck mods for now. When I bought the car it has the following mods; Mac cold air intake, Magnaflow headers and exhaust, underdrive pullies and it just bought a hypertech chip for it. I ran the timing at 12 degrees before the chip so do I have to mess with it now after the chip? Can I still advance it more? What's the stock horsepower for my motor? Any tips on helping me go faster would be appreciated! thanks!

A fairly cheap upgrade would be a gt40 intake(or explorer),also i would convert it to mass air.

Some GT40 P heads to go w/ that intake would give you ~35-40 or so more ponies to the ground.

Does the car have stock rear end and suspension?

You can go with gears, manifold, heads (if possible).

Also, a stock 5.0 has 225 horsepower and 315ft/tq.

It has stock gears I think. It only revs at around 1550 at 60mph. Can I still bump up my timing with a chip. Thank for the advice. Any more tips would be apreciated.
