for a good reaction time leave once the last yellow lights up.
with stock suspension and gears I wouldnt launch higher than 2500 rpm. but every car is different. so you will have to experiment.

would a 2500 launch hook up w/ dr's and 3.55's, could one launch higher w/ that?
Also, if you leave right when the last yellow lights up, are you for sure not to leave to early, how do you time it?

you leave a blink of an eye after the last yellow. almost just as it lights up. basically, dont anticipate the last yellow and try to floor it as the yellow comes on, the instant you see the yellow light up, floor it. the difference is less then half a second but it will make sure you dont red light. practice tho as each car is different. a high hp car with good traction has to wait longer to hit the gas then a low hp, poor traction car would

I hope I'm not taking that too literal... but basically, you physically see it light up, wait an instant, then floor it? Or am I just a moron?

Im going to say every car and every tire is diff. On my fist run i left to early and had a red light, on my 2nd i left to late and had a bad reaction time, on my 3rd i left when the 2nd yellow light went off. It dpends on the tires, the track, and the driver. dont try to power shift on street tires thoe.

no you dont sound stupid at all, most of the time the track is level so you dont have to worry about it, but like yesterday when i went i took lane 1 first and i had that problem i kept drifting back, so the next time i took lane 2 and the car did not move. if it does drift you need to hold the edge of your brake pedal with your gas foot and be on the gas at the same time, got some foot work to do lol
