need help..
New to the forums here. Maybe you guys/gals could help me out. I am sure this is a common problem on these cars. The front swaybar bushing on my 87 broke. I went to the local parts store and ordered a new bushing. Well, that just what I got. A new bushing. What I need is the whole piece. Bracket, bushing, bolts and whatever the piece is up top that the bolts thread into. Where do I get this? Ford? Junkyard? I would like new.
Also, the previous owner of this car put an electric fan on. The problem is he hooked it up to run all the time. How did you guys/gals hook up the fan? Where would I hook up a thermostat or some kind of thermistic switch to turn this fan on and off at temperature? Thanks for all the help in advance.

well, for the front swaybar bushing...the same thing happened to me (and i have an 87 too!), you need the whole brackets and everything. The only place i could find any one decent was new at Ford. But you're looking at big bucks for that, mine was around 150 US. I dunno why, they just like to make a lot of $$$ off people. Well hope this helps. Oh and about the fan? i'd buy a haynes manual for your mustang. It tells you everything you'll need to know for do it yourself stuff!

well on the sway bar issue you could get in the parts section and ask if anybody has one for sale. on the electric fan set up all you have to do is go the a parts store and ask for a thermostat swith for an electric fan it should run about twety-five dollars.(i got mine at advance auto parts.)
