Now this may be a very retarded question that I am about to ask because It did only happen within the first couple of seconds after start up.

But this morning when I started my stang up, the idle dropped very low and almost cut the car off but then it rose to 1100. It usually is at 700-800 after driving. But does this indicate that I may need a tune up? The car takes awhile to turn over sometimes.

Clean your IAC, throttle body, move your air sensor, if none of that works bump up ur idle, should slow it down...
