Idle problems

Idle problems
Well I start up my car and this has been bothering me for awhile. Every time I start my car up and sit there for a about 30 seconds, my car starts going a little below normal idle rpm. You cannot really see the needle go down at all, but you can hear it. It almost goes into stalling rpm levels. I dont know why it does this, but my alternator (I believe) is making this moaning type sound. I cannot really describe it. Any suggestions?

RE: Idle problems
Usually it's the throttlebody gumming up that does it. Sometimes it's the elements in the meter getting oiled down from the K&N. The IAC can get gummed up as well. All three can cause a slight loss in rpm & can be easily cleaned with carb or throttlebody cleaner. IMHO, I have to clean my throttlebody out every couple months & the idle rpm "picks back up" every time.....
