Default Electric waterpump

I was wonderin what would be involved with putting an electric water pump on my 5.0. wat else wwould i have 2 get and replace and is it worth it.(Not price wise) any one with one wanna help out or if you know about dem. thx

I think it's a great mod. There are different types some have an idler pulley on the electric unit so that you keep your original belt and belt path they are more expensive but I think the only way to retain your A/C & air pump unless there is a new one. The other models generally cause you to have to alter your belt size and path and/or give up an accessoy or two. With some you will also need a back plate and fittings that are additional.

I agree. Unless you were building a serious grag car I could def find other ways to spnd that money. Not to mention there are plenty of high hp street cars runnin' around w/ mech pumps.
