RE: quick ?
like mentioned not a great amount but remember that you will have to use 91 or 93 octane when you bump the timing up. go from 10 degrees to 14 degrees and everything in between, stop when you feel the best gain.

RE: quick ?
Today I actually put in a Crank underdrive pulley, an electric fan, and got rid of my crap (smog) pump. I also got a 3g alternator from the junkyard and made it work and even w/ the fan drawing it still keeps better amps then the old 85 amper. ANYWAY. After doing that, I really didn't feel much of a gain, but hey I got rid of like 20 pounds up front, (that old fan was pretty heavy.) And it is less draw off the motor. so its a win win win stiuation
