Will axle shafts from an '86 GT fit an '88 GT?

I believe that the 7.5 and 8.8 axles shafts are the same so as long as it came from an 86 mustang I think they will work.

I second Zach's comment. The only thing you should find out is if someone has upgraded to 31 spline axles. Stock is 28 spline. If your car is pretty stock You should have the 28 in people usually only update if the have serious power going to the rear end.
