vert will not convert

Default vert will not convert

occasionally when i go to put the top down the switch makes a clicking sound but the motor doesn't activate. do the brushes in the motor need replaced -- or what?

Check the wiring on the motor to see if its loose

do i go thru the well or the trunk to get to the motor?

Yeah go through the trunk, lift the bag that the roof sits in and the motor is under there. I have the same problem with mine, clicking and nothing else. Sometimes the motor works though. It's wierd.

Make sure the mortor has oil in it...could be the problem...

I was thinking that, I had a 68 Camaro and the roof motor didn't work till I filled it. And given the history of my 90 Vert I wouldn't be surprised if the motor was empty. Looks like I have some work to do this weekend.

Which way are you pushing the convertable switch? towards you or away from you?
