Vinyl Dye OR Spray?

Vinyl Dye OR Spray?
How well does it work? Does it fade faster than normal Vinyl? Can you tell that it's been dyed/painted at a glance or by touch (sticky?) Would you reccomend this over new parts (it'd obviously be cheaper).. Finally, can you give me a link or two to vinyl spray/dye (black)
thanks guys

50resto.com has spray on dye in facotry colors.
No it doesnt feel sticky, its not like a paint but a true dye that soaks
into the vinyl to change it's color. Friend used some, worked great.

well i just added up prices for console/arm rest/"upper console" as it has been dubbed/dash/shifter bezel/arm rests... $340... so i think i'm gonna just dye or spray everything becasue it seems a lot cheaper, and if it works just as good why go to all the trouble?
THanks guys- that extra money can go towards something more fun... liek exhaust cutouts
