X303 Camshaft
Can anyone suggest a good set of heads to use with an X303 cam? Is it wise to use ported stock heads with this cam? I have read that even ported stock heads are not enough for the X303. I am trying to decide if I should even spend time or money on my stock heads, or just put them aside and get new. Thanks.

RE: X303 Camshaft
Well can you port your heads yourself? If so then the only thing you will need to pay for will be a valve job when youre done.If not then by the time you had your stockers done up with the porting and valve job you could have almost bought a new set of heads so its all according to your talents and abilities.
I personally would port them unless you have some janky heads. What are your stockers E7's,GT40's?Need more info.

then it might be better to change your cam to something you can work with and just use 1.7 rocker to gain extra lift.....you could do some gasket matching have a 5 angle valve job or buy a set of used gt-40..I'm just not a fan of any of the abc cams
